"If sewing a vinyl case for the first time, print off the Vinyl Sewing Guide at sewhungryhippie.com. You'll find using a Teflon foot essential for certain vinyls, but soft vinyl doesn't require it. Use a Chrome Microtex needle size 12/80 or a Universal needle, and a strong poly thread such as Gutermann Sew-All Thread. A zipper foot is SUPER helpful and not difficult to use once you learn how to use it."
